Using Ezine Articles to Build Web Site Traffic

You see all sorts of articles on article sites such as EzineArticles, and you know that friends of yours, and other people are using content to build the traffic on their web sites. How do they manage to make their site grow using content but not putting it on their own site?

That part of the process doesn't make sense to a lot of people. How can something placed on another site help to drive traffic to your site and what good does it do to give away content, since most of those article sites don't pay you for the articles that you place there.

The process of giving away content, of using it on another site, does make sense if you really think about it. When you write an article about something you're passionate about, a topic that you know well, such as medicine, gardening or other topics, and post it on another site, you are generating interest in that topic.

It is a hook of sorts, to help others to become interested in what you're doing on your own web site. Once you've got some great content on your own site, and you want to get it noticed in a hurry, try using four or five well written articles on your topic on an articles site, or posting them to EzineArticles. Using your resource box to leave a link to your own site, to the content that you've devised on your site will very likely be sufficient to get them clicking over to view what you've got written about that same topic.

Use your ezine articles to generate interest, and your resource box to generate a link to your site, that will bring traffic in to read what you have to say on your own web site. The potential for traffic coming into your own site from that one simple article is just huge. In point of fact, you didn't give that article away at all, because you are gaining something very valuable from including it on EzineArticles or other sites like it.
